AS A JUNIOR (2009-10)
Named 2010 NSU Male Athlete of the Year... Started in 20 of 27 games played... Led the team in points per game with 12.7 and free-throw attempts per game with 5.6... Was second on the team in field goal percentage with .502 (114-227) and in rebounds per game with 5.6... Set a new career high with 23 points scored against Christian Brothers on 12/03/09 and against Eckerd on 1/09/10... Was 10-14 from the free-throw line in that game... Posted 10 rebounds in two games against West Virginia State on 11/27/09 and Barry 1/16/10... Was 9-10 from the field; shooting a career high of .900 percent against Christian Brothers on 12/03/09... Had a career high six assists against Tampa on 02/03/10... Posted one double-double at Barry on 1/16/10.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
Was limited to 13 games and eight starts due to injury...Averaged 6.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game...Set new career highs with 14 points and eight rebounds at Arkansas-Monticello (11/29/08)...Had six assists vs. Milligan College (12/16/08)...Connected on 24 of 37 free throw attempts...Had more four assists than turnovers on the season.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Played in 29 games as a freshman in '07-08 for Radford University, averaging 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game...Played in Australia's 2006 under-18 national tournament, posting eye-popping numbers and clutch performances while leading his New South Wales state team to the gold medal...For the five-day tourney, Gynes averaged 23.6 points and 12.3 rebounds, but saved his best efforts for the semifinal and championship games when he collected 40 points and 12 rebounds in the semis, followed by 26 points and 20 rebounds in the final, earning the national MVP award...At Nowra High School, Gynes was named Sportsman of the Year in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and was named to the New South Wales all-schools team as a junior and senior....Was also selected to represent Australia in the under-19 world junior tournament.
